Our mission is to foster a collaborative space where educators, researchers, and stakeholders can share ideas, exchange resources, and support Nevada’s multilingual learners and all students. We strive to provide both new and experienced teachers with opportunities to work together to design effective, student-centered lessons. NVTESOL is dedicated to serving as a central resource hub for educators of English learners throughout Nevada’s schools.

Communications & Archives — Manages newsletters, social media, website maintenance, and preserves organizational history.

Collaboration & Networking — Organizes informal virtual sessions, speaker events, and networking mixers.

Bi-Annual Conference — Directs overall planning, session selection, venue logistics, and marketing for our statewide conference.
Expanded Statewide Impact
NVTESOL actively collaborates with NVSABE (Nevada’s brand-new chapter of the National Association for Bilingual Education) to build a unified advocacy network for multilingual learners and dual-language educators across the state.
