Hello, colleagues! My name is Maija Talso (pronounced "maya"), and I am a Secondary ELD Program Facilitator for WCSD. I was born and raised in Reno, then absconded for far-flung places like Oregon and Guinea-Bissau, teaching English all along the way... I've been with the district here for about 15 years now, beginning as an EL teacher at Galena High School. I also served from 2013-2019 on the English Mastery Council. I'm looking forward to seeing NV TESOL grow and flourish!
